I have a conti on front left (needs replacing) and P zero on right (but a run flat) with lots of tread on.
Just taken it to my local indy and he wasnt impressed with my idea of matching up the run flat on the passenger side.
took it to a tyre garage and suggested this and they were happy.

What would you do, replace both and ebay the pzero or put runflat on?

rears arent too far off needing to be replaced.

want to keep costs down as i have insp due which is looking at £800.

thanks

A run flat is the last thing I'd ever do....

?, you're running a run flat on a E46 M3.

Really?

Apart from the driver, tyres are THE most important safety feature. I'd strongly recommend against comprising on tyres and would use the ones which are BMW approved for the M3. Ditch the run flat and run the same make of BMW M3 approved tyre on the front axle with the same tread depth. Ideally (as the tyres are designed around all four being the same type) ensure they match the rears.
