Thirlestane Castle, Sunday 10 June
Discussion
A heads-up for anyone in the Edin/Lauder area - big meeting of vintage, classic, American and sports cars at this venue this weekend, with Dream Rides by Sporting Bears Motor Club (an opportunity for passenger rides in something exotic). It's a big event, more details here : http://www.bvac.org.uk/thirlestane/

Great day. Some nice metal there too.
Spotted a Westfield
Well it wasnt mine's.Spotted a Westfield
Was heading there in my Westfield but had to turn back between Biggar and Peebles due to some extreme rain. The carbs were taking in water it was that bad. I could feel the water under floor of the car causing the car to aquaplane even at 30mph and below. I could have been doing with wipers on the inside of the windscreen as well It wasnt pleasurable.
Would liked to have been there to see some of the old metal.

Doh. Sorry to hear that. We came down from Edinburgh and despite a brief down-pour about halfway down the weather was 'ok'.Was heading there in my Westfield but had to turn back between Biggar and Peebles due to some extreme rain.
