I've got this bloody pop up every couple of minutes and it is relly fg me off.

I don't want a bloody Britney Spears Polyphonic Ringtone

Any ideas how I can get rid of it or block it.

thanks.

Google tool bar = pop up stopper..

But.. I'd say it's most probably malware, download and run Ad-aware from lavasoft (google should turn it up)

So,
is the the pop up a messenger pop up or an i.e. style pop up?

It pops up like a small Internet Explorer window then opens up another window advertising ringtones

just googled "remove 680180 popup" and found this

handy website said:

Please use the following removal steps to remove this adware:

Click Start > Run, enter 'regedit' to open the registry editor.

Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Run

In the right pane, delete the value 'Adstartup'.

Close the registry editor.

Open a Dos command prompt window, enter the following commands:

For Windows 2000/Xp,

cd %WinDir%System32
regsvr32 /u SWin32.dll

Or for Windows 98/Me

cd %WinDir%System
regsvr32 /u SWin32.dll

Reboot the computer.

Open Windows Explorer, type %WinDir%/System32 to open the system folder. Delete the following files (if present):

ADStartUP.exe
AdUpdater.exe
Swin32.dll
AutoMove.exe

adupdmanager.xml
data.xml
IEEnhancer.dll
Trans.exe

don't forget to backup the registry beforehand if you're not 100% sure..

The google results can be found here, I went for the 3rd entry "Remove Zamingo"

you could also try spybot - it sometimes catches things ad-aware misses.
