My niece turns 17. She has use of a mini one which I found for the family.

Trying to think of something to get her that is car/mini related. £40.

A lot of the mini stuff seems rather naff!!

Ideas?

Whalen Shift Machine Gearknob - made by Doug Whalen in the US - really heavy knobs which feel lovely and improve the shift feel.

or

Mirror caps - set of chrome, or UJ mirror caps? Ones only have matt black caps, so that would be nice.

What is it Ed, an R50 (01-07) or an R56 (07-present)?

My first thought, then I remembered that my mate is looking at alternative side strikes for his Cooper at £70 per pair.

However, it seems that they can be done from some places.

I've got a set of nice black Cooper branded mats with white piping in the boot of my car, fit an R50... hehe

Bonnet stripes are just out of reach here, but may be cheaper elsewhere..?

Thanks, pretty sure a print wouldnt be something a teenage girl would like. Mirror caps is an option - I have a question into my sister as to whether this would be seen as cool or naff!

I thought that was "Pedo" as in the US for "paedo" for a minute. I blame the Ted trailer for corrupting my view of sweet, cuddly teddy-bears.

That's a thought, my ex girlfriend had a fuzzy 'Tatty Teddy' mirror surround (wouldn't fit a MINIs odd shaped mirror), Tax Disc holder, teddy hanging from a sucker in one of the back windows and a little teddy in the pocket atop the dashboard in her Polo... I reckon she'd probably love that stuff. Your task, is to bring yourself to buy that crap. hehe
