looking to renew insurance from Classicline - any better alternatives out there?
Mature driver (50s)
Good NCB
Agreed value
Low annual mileage
Possible mthly option

Was paying £180 for I think 3k miles, hoping for lowish two hundreds

No direct PM available at the mo, so public forum answers are fine and hopefully helpful to all

Went with Mannings this year, policy will revert to cheaper laid-up cover when I put chim into hibernation next winter. These and classic line were clear front runners this time round.

So prem reduces on same agreed value policy when laid up? - Mine mainly laid up (has been for yrs!) - Be nice to get a mthly pol in two hundreds if poss (other cars to feed!)

I will inform Mannings when I have sorn'd the car (maybe end of Oct), then laid up status activates and I think it's cash-back or credit for following year. Chap said it could halve prem depending. Was £302 for me this time; 46y/o, 3k miles, no commute, garaged, 2nd car, mirrored full ncd, £18k agreed val, track+euro cover incl.
