Bringing the topic back from the dead instead of starting a new one.
My daughter and I go out on Saturday spins up the local cycle track (route 43, Swansea) on our mountain bikes.
We're gradually building the distance up, currently on about sixteen miles, not bad for a six year old.
Is the information above still valid and is the British cycling "ride" membership correct for us?

If you're after 3rd party insurance then "ride" will cover you. If you want cover for your bikes then check if you're covered by your home contents insurance as specific cycling insurance is horrendously expensive. Pachydermus said:
