AA recovery for car in storage?

My mate was wondering if anyone nows if the AA would come out for a car that has been in storage?

Not been moved since it's MOT earlier this year.

Knowing him he probably has then full cover, but like you, i'm not sure home start would cover it.
The garage is a short walk from his house.
