Insurance again..

Search is down again, and I've scrolled through the last 13 pages and only found one thread on insurance. I'm with Admiral at the moment, but they've done the usual and stuck it up. So before I phone them and do the usual bartering, any other options that you owners are happy with?

Competition car insurance have always been cheaper for me and you get 5 track days included.

I try Admiral every year for their multicar policies and every year they're so uncompetitive it's laughable.
Back in February they were over £1000 dearer for our 3 cars than the best single car policies we eventually bought.

Elephant came up cheapest for me £265, and they just happen to be part of admiral, multi car is a waste of time, cheaper to insure cars individualy

I'm with Admiral who mirrored my no claims bonus from my other policy (my multicar policy is full!!) at a cost of £262

I'm also with Admiral and have mods declared. Of course, mine are minor ( exhaust, tune ) and that was fine. I think they are okay with power increases of up to 10% ( might be 20% ).

I've had one renewal so far ( i.e. the first time that my two cars started at the same time ) and was almost exactly the same as the previous year.

CCI are happy with all my mods without it affecting my premium

I pay around £600, i'm 36yrs self employed own a house with 2 children have full no claims, clean licence, 1 claim made in 2010 on my X5 2k worth of damage for hitting a telegralph pole in the snow whilst driving sensibly
May be i should be looking some where else for insurance?

If you join any other car club such as seloc you will double your discount!

Nobleparts could be classed as a Noble owners club as you have to prove ownership to become a member. Not sure what to suggest if they require a membership number though, I suppose I could always generate one.

It would be good to have a "club" - my insurers (ClassicLine) do free trackday cover for events organised by a club.

That's because the club takes some of the liability, Nobleparts isn't set up to do that! I don't want to get involved in organising trackdays either.

I don't think I could deal with certain egos or the feeling that I may be indirectly responsible for someone losing their car/house/first born in an ill-advised bet.
