researching spec for my autosolo / autotest / classic rally / hillclimb Nk1 Golf (probably). Do MSA scutineers see coil-overs as sufficiently close in design to the original McPherson Struts to count only as improved dampers and springs?
Individual disiplines may view them differently, but in sprints/hillclimbs they are permitted in the production car class due to them being of similar design and using the original pick up points as OE.
