Using a Lexus LS400 for drifting?

Seeing the car above in the classifieds has really got me thinking now, seems perfect for drifting really, big v8 etc, is it poss or is there a better car out there do it under £1000, i can just imagine the v8 roaring!

I'd have thought a 540i or something with a v8 + manual would be easier.
