There, there, be better soon

Just been looking at the thread 'three best pictures' and it just made the next week seem much longer. At the moment my topic should read 'the three worst pictures' lol. Look below and see what I mean. Sad or what!! Even the roof is at half-mast
No pain - no gain they say. It'll look a bit different at the end of next week then it can join the other thread.

Roll on the 'Fest'. Started praying for the sun already!

No worries, the colour going on is a man's choice. Been caught like that before when I went to buy a car years ago. Missus wouldn't even sit in a car cos she didn't like it. We then drove down the road and she said 'Ooh that car's nice, as it drove past. You guessed it, it was the same car but in a different colour! You could buy a heap of s**t as long as it was the 'nice' colour.
What do you do with them eh?
At least she agrees with this choice of colour

I'm waiting with bated breath to see the result!
Any chance of seeing some pictures of the wrapping process? I'm thinking of getting my Wedge done so any feedback re. what can be done to make the job easier/quicker/cheaper would be most welcome!

I'll get some piccies. As far as prep goes I started out just doing the bad bits, cracks etc, but got carried away and went over all of it with sanding blocks, and found more work! So it worked out better really. My thinking was that the less work I give the guy who was wrapping, instead of getting sidetracked with fixing the surface he was covering, the better job he'd be able to do. Not so sure all my work made any difference to the price though! Gonna have a couple of days work just putting everything back aand tidying things up for the final photo. Can't wait to see the effect!

This must be the first viynl wrapped wedge...In fact the more i look at it the more i like it...I think i will definitely go this route too..Be interesting to see it when its finished...Is it a thick grade for better durability?..Also i should imagine that decals can be printed on if required..Cool...Ziga

Hi Mark. The vinyl is Hexis 30000 grade which is their best one. Its a lot thicker than their normal stuff. I had some samples of the next quality and you can see and feel the difference. It costs bit more but it'll be worth it i think. MikeBeen to see the Wedge this morning. The effect is magic. From the guy's comments wrapping a Wedge is not an easy job. Gonna be a few more joins than the average car and a long job Im thinking. So many angles, changes of contour. I reckon he's got his work cut out with this job.
If all goes to plan final cost should be about £1450, would have been a lot less with a plain vinyl instead of the flip colour. That includes door shuts and wheels.
Just hoping it is all back together fo BBWF!!
