Chinese driver Han Yue has broken the world record for the tightest parallel parking manoeuvre. He drifted into a space just 15cm longer than the Mini he was driving, beating the previous record (22cm) held by Patrik Folco.

Could be useful in London. smile

What I want to know is: how many bumpers were damaged during this and how many point turn would it take to get it back out biggrin

No, not possible. There's only 15cm so the rear wheels have to move sideways...

Cheers

Pretty sure I understand it and not sure it will work. If he moves right back against the rear car then does as "Himself" suggests, he'll only get out if the diagonal length of the car is less than 15cm more than the actual length.

Oh and a bit disappointed by the OP's use of the word "Mini", video was a bit of a let down frown

Apologies I was just being a bit pedantic.

From your post, I was wanting to see this, a Mini. smile

The only Mini

This is a "MINI"

And is about as oxymoronic as a car name gets tongue out

It would work, but would require full lock on the steering handbrake on firmly and lots of wheelspin! The front of the car will slide out allowing the car to be driven clear of the space. I can vouch for it working ..!
