that a four wheel drive is parked on top of my car. The spare on the rear door is pressing down on the bonnet of my car and compressing the suspension, so not just grazing against it. When I politely suggested that this arrangement was perhaps sub-optimal I got a right earful about the fact that she had to load her elderly parents into her car. So that's alright then..........

I think I'd move house if I were you. Nothing worse than disrespectful neighbours. I can't buy a house that doesn't have a garage. It stops the neighbourhood kids from using my M3 as a goal post.
