Rear splitter gone..

Door trims gone..

Along with the indicator lenses..

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, what with my street being filled with the sort of knuckle dragging pondlife that makes Jeremy Kyles guests look like something aspire to.
I'm guessing whoever did it must be local, and knew the car has been parked up there for a while. Will certainly be looking for nearby E36s that suddenly appear with M-tec parts..
The thing I don't get is they left the evo splitter on the front, and the M3 mirrors. Guess they will be coming back for those tonight.
Telford, full of utter scum.

Never really thought about desirable trim being stolen (never had a car with desirable trim!). What can you do to fight that? I suppose you could discreetly mark it so you can ID it on another car.
Edit: just remembered that thread about the Vauxhall wing mirror trims being stolen.

I didn't think there was any risk of the trim being stolen either, never crossed my mind. The door trims I'm not so fussed about, but the rear splitter/defuser I am. Might report it to the police despite them probably not being interested.

k all about it, Essex police did however offer me counselling as a victim of crime when someone smashed the wing mirror off an Audi A4 I had
I'd report it just so if they turn up in a raid on a lock-up or what have you, you may have a chance of seeing them again. Echo your sentiments about Telford, are you in Woodside/Brookside/Sutton Hill or one of the more salubrious areas like Hollinswood?
Seriously though, how come you're living there if you hate it so much?
Seriously though, how come you're living there if you hate it so much? If they aren't total mugs they won't nick the wing mirrors.
M3 jobs are "snap off" and can easily be removed but no one will sell you a base without a mirror because everyone knows someone who needs bases but has mirrors has clearly nicked the mirrors.
Crappy thing to happen though. If you're letting the car stand for a bit, have you considered a cover with tamper proof strapping? I know it's a bit like Wile. E. Coyote's little umbrella to help stop a 400ft plummet but it's something...

Op I have a rear bumper and some bits of the trim your missing in the back of my garage from a car that met its end on a track day. Free to a good home.
Ps I had to get them back from the body shop that tried to nick the body kit after they declared it total loss.

Scum bags.

I am a student so I am at my mums still at the moment, I have 1 more year left, then as soon I get a proper job as it were I'll be looking for my own place
Ironically the car survived being in the centre of crime ridden Swansea for several months without a scratch..fozzymandeus said:

That's okay then, wouldn't surprise me if they still attempted to nick them though.M3 jobs are "snap off" and can easily be removed but no one will sell you a base without a mirror because everyone knows someone who needs bases but has mirrors has clearly nicked the mirrors.

It used to have a car cover over it, it's only been off for about a week!
One thing I have discovered though is my rear bumper is in fact from a Boston green E36 originally..

Nice to see the kind offer of some replacements gratis !
When you put them on OP, use a soldering iron and mark the reg details into the back of them.
Indeed When you put them on OP, use a soldering iron and mark the reg details into the back of them.

And that's a good idea, I've got a couple of soldering irons laying around. Might go mark the bottom of the evo splitter now!
It is a shame, it's things like this which make me envious of people with garages.
On the subject of marking the parts, I was considering using the soldering iron the mark the reg in, filling in the characters with chalk pen and laquering it. Bit of a botch but gets the job done..
That Alpha-Dot stuff looks good though.

Nothing new, my Mrs had the clear indicator lenses stolen off an M reg Fiesta around 10 years ago!
