Seen this number plate in Edinburgh yeasterday. Looks great! Anyone else spotted any other cool "OL12MPC" themed number plates around the UK?

As a man who suffers from no reading impairments, I genuinely struggle to read that combination of letters and numbers as the word "Olympic" coffee

Never, ever understood this fascination with number plates.

Added to which it doesn't say "Olympic" anyway - certainly not to me and I doubt many others!

Weren't there loads of Olympics/runner/sport type plates at the last DVLA auction?

Stuff like 100M, 400m, Go10 Team, Run3R, Vau11T

Is it yours and you're trying to sell it?

Just, I had an e-mail from a dealer last week trying to sell that very number.

I think it's fairly shyte to be honest.

Look out for these awesome Olympic themed plates at your local number plate supplier.

"GA07 MDL" which looks like "GOLD MEDAL"
"DV12 BRD" which looks like "DIVING BOARD"
"SH07 PUT" which looks like "SWIMMING" if you squint
"X193 OBW" which looks like "BEST WISHES TO TEAM GB IN THE LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES" if you place a few black and yellow screwheads strategically.

Apart from anything else, the plate says MPC 12 and it's on a 458??

I was about to say 'it's just the name of the car'! Then I realised reading MPC made the car turn into a mclaren in my brain!
