Tomorrow i'm going to see 2 vehicles both a little different from the other.

One is a BMW 740 on a 98 and it is very clean with low mileage and the other is a 97 Subaru Legacy GTB with real low mileage and 1 very careful owner since coming into the country.

Man maths has come up with a level playing field as MPG isn't much of an issue due to low mileage, space both of them have plenty of and insurance is pretty much the same.

2 turbo's sounds appealing but i'm looking for thoughts from either current or previous owners of either to help me.

I would have done a poll but think a mod needs to activate that feature.

Vote for the 740, as long as it doesn't have beige and wood old man interior like my E38 did.

The wood in BMWs of that era is distinctly naff.

Thats a tough one...

I suspect the Scooby is the better car but I would probably buy the 740 if the spec was right.

Good luck

740 without a doubt, potentially scary running costs though. The cooling system must be replaced if it hasn't been already, £400 max.

Went with the legacy in the end. The drive of the legacy and also the massive boot helped me make my decision.

Thanks for your input.
