I'm after staying somewhere in the Cotswolds for my 10th wedding anniversary in October. Any country inns with rooms that peeps can recommend?

Thanks

My local (Bell Inn) has started BB recently; it’s situated in the village of Ducklington, just outside the town of Witney, good pub food and drink

They don’t have a web site yet, but if your interested then phone them on 01993 700341, I think its £50 a room

Russells in Broadway is nice but not cheap. I know htels better than Inns though, I like Dormy House hotel just outside Broadway, Buckland Manor is nice if you are feeling flush and don't mind hob knobbing it with the well to do country set

Thanks to everyone who took time to respond.

After seeing an article about Brittany yesterday evening in the travel section of the Sunday Times we have decided to go to the Dinard Film Festival which is on in the same week in October. Cheap Ryan Air flight and probably stay in St Malo. Should be great to be away without the kids for a couple of days!

Britanny ferries night crossing to St malo is surprisingly civilised. Eat in the posh restaurant, book a commodore cabin, take the car and enjoy the relatively empty french roads
