996 wing mirror

Left side wing mirror has come off my 996 4s. It's the mirror itself, not the whole unit

What is my best option to stick it back. Super glue? The backing unit seems to be plastic. Thanks

Having worked in the automotive glazing industry for six years the only successful material to use is 1mm ish thick double sided foam, Lohmann Technologies UK Ltd. sell it to the trade, there must be a retailer that repackages it somewhere.

I wouldn't glue it in, it is meant to clip in. The reason being is that you have to unclip the glass out of the mirror in order to pull it apart and work on it at a future date. You could easily buy a second hand unit off Ebay and change the internal over in your housing.
