surprised no one has commented on this car in the classifieds yet...
looks interesting and the body mods from a certain red bull car look quite good.

Perhaps nobody commented because they don't like it.

Interesting rear end I'd like a closer look at the underneath of that car, as for not liking it, each to their own, at least someone has gone further than fitting fairy lights and furry dice.

Comment...... front is good, rear not so and the glam colour doesn't suit the full-on race rear end at all !

But thats just one persons taste.... will the thread develop into useful info is the bottom line ??

I wondered what gives the rear clip any strength.. Its taken away the 3rd dimensional strength?

The rear wing brace I'd imagine.

The fronts close but not quite there, some things a little out but TBH I'm not to sure what... It might be the curved top to the rad entry
or the way they finished the Raise nose...... what do you think ??

I dont think the choice colour or the two tone paint job do it justice, doubling the rear lights side by side would help break up the rear grille visually (though not necessary) and lessen the impact a little.
I can't really see but it looks as though they have had a "real" attempt at improving aero (ground clearance and short front splitter aside)it would be good to have a look and see it the floor has been extended in the right places.

I didn't comment because I like to be positive with my posts.

Not my cup of tea at all, but each to their own.

Colour is down to taste. Not to mine I have to admit.

I have a lot of respect for those that try to be different if the final result is reasonably successful, which this is. The amount of work required to achieve something of this nature is considerable and if it has been done by an amateur then it is even more impressive. Do remember that when ever you change something it effects other areas of the car so you often end up engineering around those too.

We may or may not like it but the builder probably does, and it is unique in this time of faceless boxes traversing our highways.

Well the open rear should offer better engine cooling.

I don't think that is from "the red bull car". I was involved in the early stages of that car and it doesn't look like it is the form we designed in version 1. Maybe if they have bought it and then altered it. Look at the nose cone for example, it's much shorter compared to the "original".

The rear is kind of looking like my car did with the open rear but something is "wrong" IMHO.

And the color...

It looks far too close to the Mk1 car for me, and I know someone over here bought one of those front ends for their car...
agreed it may have been mildly altered.

http://www.racemirrors.com/ (really good quality and no vibrations)

The stock mirrors where better when you wanted to see what was close behind the car. But the stock position made it impossible to see anything in them while driving. You had to move you eyes and "re focus" for short sight to be able to use the stock mirrors. With this kind of power and performance taking your eyes of the tarmac can be fatal... smile So for my use the forward position was 500% better than stock position. (then buy a rear view camera for parking)

Think twice before you drill the doors...
