End of an era - Goodbye 5D2

Tomorrow my 5D2 will set off on a journey to it's new home, leaving me without a camera for the first time in a long while. It's served me well in 3 or so years, and has brought my photography on massively, a truly awesome camera which produces great images. Alas, it is big, and with 2.8 lenses, heavy, so it has to go.

It's not all bad though, now I start my search for somewhere to pick up a Fuji Film X Pro 1 and some lenses. To say I'm excited is an understatement

Are there any X Pro 1 shooters around? Or does anyone know where I can pick up a Voigtlander Color-Skopar 25mm f/4 P in the UK?

I'm sure the fuji will be sufficient consolation. They look great!

Have you looked at Robert white for the lens. Pretty sure that's where I found my 20mm.

I had a play with the X1 at Focus earlier in the year, seemed a very nice bit of kit, lovely well-made feel to it, enjoy.

I played with one in Jessops not long ago, my only concern is that they feel a tad light. Maybe I'm just used to a heavy DSLR set up though.

I'm in the same boat and looking to go the same way.

My brother has an XP1 and I've been able to liberate it from him for a few days. After a DSLR it takes a fair bit of adjustment on the part of the user - it just isn't the same as a DSLR and you have to go through a learning process.

But I must say the image quality is breathtaking. It definitely fills the task of offering 5D2 image quality in a much lighter package.
