Yep, a friend and I. I've never got this ferry before and I'm looking forward to the variation in route compared to previous years.

What is this ferry like, much to do on board?

There's a few of us. Exige, couple of TVR's, S3 and a couple of others that I can't remember.

Nothing to do with drink, everything to do with the fact that he can't make up his mind and buy a car wink

There are a number of [fine] establishments...
It's usually packed with PHers on Wednesday evening. We'll be on it as long as the Petrolhead horsemen of the apocalypse don't stand in our way; Traffic, Floods, Pestilence (yes, one year) and Breakdown.

Thought you were referring to one of our members there - PH member 'Breakdown' is on the trip with us biggrin -

I was referring to my own co-pilot - but since you're bringing someone actually called "Breakdown" then I will err on the side of being jinxed.

Given there are (amongst others) a couple of Tivs, and a Lotus in our convoy I'm currently considering making "offerings" to the Gods of Motoring. Next door's cat should be about right....

Don't be mean, it was subsequently confirmed to be nothing other than a leaky gasket, so the Chim would have been fine.

Not this year, but our party normally on the Tuesday eve from Hull.

Food is plentiful, loads of bars, a nice propped restaurant if you want a la carte & decent wine in Langhams, plus a casino with some very nice priental ladies.

Be sure to set your clocks forward 1 hour for morning though.

And if you see Maxwell (if he's on the boat you cannot miss him), tell him Rachel misses him awfully.
