Beacon hill, Halifax

Someone, through the night, has painted a St Georges flag on the wall at the top of Beacon hill!! Not sure if it should be taken as patriotic or vandalism?
I think it was a couple of years ago when the TVR logo was on the same wall.

It would have been up in time for the Jubilee but they've probably been waiting for it to stop raining.

The flag has been painted there for a while.
I think it was when the EDL march was coming to Halifax that it got put up.

I know there was one there in 2010 but the current one is only days old. Its the first thing I see when I open the curtains.
