ok well, MPW has now no affiliation with the Yew Tree.
However there is a fair bit of Yew Tree in the Carnavon Arms in presentation and atmosphere although I would say Carnavon is a little more chilled.
I actually really enjoyed lunch, was pleasantly surprised. I had potted mackerel and then the governors fish and triple fried chips and a bottle of D`arenburg sauvignon blanc. On the whole 8.5 / 10, deffo wanna go back for dinner one night, somewhere that works well for lunch is not necessarily going to work well for dinner.
However there is a fair bit of Yew Tree in the Carnavon Arms in presentation and atmosphere although I would say Carnavon is a little more chilled.

Correct, think they parted company about a year ago. But the YT's website still mentioned MPW until approx 6 months ago; I know because I booked (what turned out to be a fairly average) Sunday Lunch on the back of it. See previous threads if you can be arssd.jontysafe said:
