Hi Guys,

I think this is probably in the best forum, but mods feel free to move if needed.

I've just had one of these gazebos http://www.outdoorlivinghottubs.co.uk/gazebos/bren... fitted over my hot tub in the garden, so we can use it more of the year.

Whilst in it I thought it would be great to have a flip down tv (22-26" roughly) in the roof so I can watch the f1 in the tub etc.
So my questions are:

1. is it doable.
2. can anyone recommend a TV that can put up with the steam/cold winters (or will I have to remove over winter)
3. how do I get sky out to it
4. what kind of bracket will I need?

TIA

Jon

Would have thought you'd want a bathroom one...

Used to sell www.tilevision.tv . Just beware of cheap imported tat! These are recessed in the wall though. You could easily chuck a cheapo Samsung on a flip down mount and just remove it when not in use. Ok it can't get wet but depends on budget. I seem to recall the Tilevisions were about £700.00

ETA Looking at the gazebo I would just bung a cheapie in there. I don't suppose anyone is going to bother pinching it, so depends how you feel about leaving it outside? Perhaps a 22-24" would suffice, so just enclose it in a plastic bag when not being used...

These chaps will sort you out with a tv designed to deal with the demands of a hot tub environment www.hotspring.co.uk/hot-tub-accessories/spa-entert... large company who I have used before. A normal tv wouldn't cope to well with the humid environment.

There are several ranges of out door tv's available now. All sealed up to protect against the environment.

Bathroom ones won't be much good as they are designed to be flushed into walls / tiles and then silicones in.

I'll have a look at a couple of suppliers when I am in the office on Friday.
