Mine does. I could over-dramatise this but I'll try to be brief....

I don't use the TVR every day, and that makes the times when I do all the more exciting. Knowing I'm going to use it means an excited night before, the opening of the garage, the noise of start up, the driving. In all honesty I still get adrenaline even for a drive home from PHHQ, odd as it may sound.

I even prefer using it to some test cars I'm occasionally lucky enough to be offered.

For these reasons I find it hard to consider ever selling it. I'm not alone though, right? Other PHers still get excited about cars they've owned for a few years don't they? I do.

Pretty much any car would excite me at the moment (excluding diesels of course) guess that's how you feel with it sat for 6 months frown and having to walk everywhere.

TVR again - 7 1/2 years and counting. Not just a drive - an experience!

Doesn't just excite me - scares me quite regularly too wink

Can't imagine what I'd swap it for cloud9

To be honest, I used to love going for a drive just for the heck of it (Yaris T Sport), but lately all I seem to do is browse the classified wishing I was driving almost anything else frown

Little things depress me about my car though. I need to get rid of all the little rattles and noises, maybe get the sycro's replaced, then I might be happy.....probably smile

No,to be honest. My cars has lost its sparkle (and not just because it needs a wash). It feels a bit boring now,not slow by any means, very very fast, just dull! I can't even think of what to replace it with neither,I've had a Ferrari, currently in a Porsche,TVR's don't float my boat, can't afford a Gallardo,so god knows.

The Q7 is the car I use the most, it's capable and comfortable and pretty boring but does the jobs I need it to. The MGF lives in the garage most of the time and I only use it occasionaly but when I do it feels like a happy little go cart. Best £1600 car I've ever had!

I'm starting to lose interest in driving. Only covered about 200 miles in the last month in the kit car. When it isn't raining something needs fixing, the roads are full of holes, cost of fuel, reduced speed limits etc. Need a new hobby.

Definitely.

Occasionally frustrating, but always somehow so much more than the sum of it's parts. I couldn't ask for more from it and I'm always kept smiling. It's all the car I need and can excite in a fabulously pure way.

My Caterhams currently in for repair which I madly love enough to use daily.

I've been given a 60 reg BMW 330 petrol convertible while it's in for repair.

Sure it's got all of the toys, but it leaves me numb in comparison. It was a novelty, but now I know what every button and function does.

Now I'd quite fancy a weeks swap for a TVR....

Yes and no.

It looks so sad sat outside the house 2 weeks a month gathering dust, bird muck and dirt from passing busses. Not to mention the scrotes who knicked the wheels and the irritating stereo I just constantly leave off now. But then I take it for a drive and I have a massive smile on my face.

So yes, when I'm in it.

Yes they do. I drive a Peugeot 308HDi mainly as it is my company car but I do look forward to driving my Clio but more so my Elise. I still go for drives just for the hell of it in either of them just to enjoy them smile

The one I have had longest, a definite yes. It is its ability to snatch pleasure a few seconds at a time out of an otherwise humdrum drive that makes me look forward to being in it.

Yes, only after spending £400 on it.

Had my 2007 Focus ST for 2.5 years, started to get a bit bored with the peformance (not enough of it). Wanted more so looked in the classified ads for an M3, an M3 CS in Interlagos Blue or a normal one in Techno Violet. Found one but talked myself out of it (running costs). Bought a Dreamscience re-map for the Focus ST in the Christmas 11 / New Year 12 sale instead. Now after 3 years of ownership, I have a smile back on my face. Why didnt I buy it sooner, it feels like a totally new car with it boosting nice and smooth with no drop off.
