black diamond brake discs

Anyone used black diamond or any other upgraded brake discs on their S2 and if so where is the best place to get them from in the West Yorkshire area

I have Black Diamond Grooved and drilled Discs and they are great, a massive improvement over the originals, I am told!! Dont know where the previous owner got them from, sorry!

We put our Black diamond disks on the S and they were a huge improvement......but the old ones were totally knackered. We bought them from Motorsport World( motorsportworld.co.uk ). Interestingly though, just as important as performance they turned up promptly and fitted properly (BD have a good reputation for no-hassel fitting).

I could go on about how well they work from cold and how easy it is to threshold brake with the amount of feedback they give but I would be talking crap. I'm no motorsport ace but I do know that if I stand on the middle pedal now the car stops well, in a straight line with none of the "Christ is it going to stop" you can get with some of the other pads if they are cold.

braking improved no end (IMHO) and not a big expense
also green stuff pads tend to need warming before they are effective and can warp cheap discs
