I discovered this man and his band via Stumbleupon, and I'm afraid I'm a little bit hooked.

Has anyone else ever even heard of them? They don't appear to come any further west than Germany as far as I can tell, which is a shame as I'd even be interested in seeing them live.

One of their songs on Youtube

(not sure about the dancing though)

I rather liked that thumbup

I'm sure it'll not be everyone's cup of tea, but it shows some imagination fusing dance & Charleston.

At last, I've tried mentioning him to my mates and none of them like him, I love it though, theres just something catch about all his tunes.

Also, that was the exact video I saw a couple of years ago, got to admit it's some impressive dancing like it or not.

One of my favourites:

Some of his stuff (just a producer rather than a band AFAIK) is quite cool, but I am less fond of the more downtempo stuff. 'Hotel Axos' is a pretty slick track. If you like the housier side of his stuff, check Gramophonedzie and Caravan Palace although the latter might be going too far down the Electroswing route for some. I've been playing a bit of this kind of thing in my house sets recently and it has to be said it's unpredictable which crowds will like it and which won't.
