Even taking into account the falling oil price, what is going to be the effect on new and second hand car pricing of the euro chaos and downturn in the US and far east?

Particularly interested if the view is that larger engined cars/barges/sportscars will take a bath, but what do you think

Well weirdly all the interesting older stuff whether huge engined or not has rocketed upwards in the last few years.

I can only think that as savings get bugger all interest everyone is spending their money.

TVR's haven't dropped I sold a Griff 500 for £14k 12 yrs ago - comparable cars still fetch that.
Cheap Ferraris - 400, 308, 328 etc have shot up to 3x what they were.

Nothing? It already crashed back in 2009 and hasn't really recovered since.

Falling oil prices wont last beyond next week anyway what with the OPEC Price Fixing Club meeting on Thursday, the Iranian's ready to make zero progress in the nuclear talks next week and the markets inevitably thinking its time to buy a shedload of crude to speculate on when the Greek people decide agasint voting for the anti-austerity parties at the weekend.
