Got to take off my rocker covers and need the long socket to undo the bolts. I have seen them advertised on P/H's. Where can I buy one from and what size is it.
All this because of a broken bolt rolleyes
Thanks
Barrie

12 point deep socket.

I had a 10mm, 12 point short socket that was too large outer diameter.
Ground down the outer surface and put a wind of plastic tape on the outside to protect the rocker boxes, 5 mins, job done!

A 1/4" drive socket and extension bar will also do the trick smile

Down to Halfords, £3.95 and didn't have to grind it off. Will now use the 'shiny' allen bolts I bought about 3 years ago. Which means I won't scratch the paint on my rocker coverslaugh
