Sorry if this has been covered before, but the search function is broked. A friend of mine has £5,000 to spend on a new car.
He's after something fun to drive, preferably 5 door (must be 4 seater) with cheapish tax - not £400 a year. Importantly it's got to be reliable and maintenance free between services. He's not the mechanically minded type, so an RX-8 is out. I think a derv is probably out too.
Please, give me your thoughts!
