As I hinted at in another thread, I have recently started using MY Fitness Pal and it has opened my eyes as to what I am eating.

Listed in there are daily recommended intakes of various stuff, the main being Potassium, Sodium, Protein, Calcium, Iron together with Vitamins A & C.

I know the obvious one for potassium is banana, sodium can be gained from salt, and protein I believe is chicken.

Thus far today I have eaten four banana's and still I am only just halfway on the recommended potassium intake, and have had very little sodium and protein (and Vit A), but have an overdose (if that's the right word)on Vitamin C.

So obviously I need a little help spotting those other goodies that can help me balance this.

IMO I wouldn't worry about trying to increase your potassium intake! It comes in dairy products, potatoes, plenty of things. If you're eating 4 bananas a day then you won't be going short. Eating too much causes more problems than cutting out bananas etc.

Don't worry about not having 'enough' salt either...you'll be getting plenty.

Just try and eat a healthy balanced diet rather than getting caught up on vitamin percentages smile

This is good advice. The key is to eat a balanced diet, try and get as many of the food groups into your meals as you can, and you'll be fine.
