Creaking rear end

After a few miles on the continent, I have now got a creaking noise from the drivers rear at low speed. I`m thinking maybe shock absorber related, anyone else had this ? or maybe someone can point me in the right direction, cheers.

Less beer, drive faster, all good suggestions or swap shocks side to side and see if noise swaps sides?

could be time for new shocks or refurb. What shocks you got?

its probably the exploded coke bottle making everything a bit stiffer than usual. Try washing it off your bush=es

Hello Mike, it`s good to see the S forum has lots of humour I have avo`s on the car and they`re not very old and have not to many miles on them. I will swap them over and see if it will identify the noise, my initial thought was bushes but I was guessing cheers.

Avo's... say no more.

Mine creaked, went back for rectification (foc to be fair) ok for a while then guess what, yep started again.

Sold 'em (told buyer the history) and bought Protechs

ETA just remembered, creaking got worse the "harder" they were set, try backing off a couple of notches (if only to prove a point)?

Just a thought, would a good dousing with silicon spray make any difference?
