Just read in Classic Car Weekly that another motor racing great sadly passed away on June 3 rd aged 90 . His greatest success occurred when he won the 59 Le Mans 24 hours in an Aston DBR1 alongside Carroll Shelby . He went on to race the ill fated Lightweight E Type and survived a major high speed shunt in one .

R.I.P to a motor racing legend... Unfortunately I believe he'd been going senile over the past couple of years from people i've spoken to who knew him, though 90 is not a bad age at all considering the eras through which he raced!
