Hypothetical question - MoT?
Discussion
How serious would it be to drive a car without a valid MoT for 3 weeks after it expires. It would be MoT'd after that time again.
Wont go into reasons why at the moment - I just want to know how seriously it is taken. The car is otherwise fully roadworthy, taxed and insured etc...

I think you'll find the insurance is invalid if the MOT is out of date...
Popular misconception. Check your T&C.
IIRCC, it is an offence to have the vehicle on the road unless it is being taken to a prebooked MOT or a place where remedial work is to be carried out.
But in this situation, if it takes you three weeks to drive to your garage/test station then your car is very poorly or you are a terrible driver
