For That Person at Growl Wanting Fan Details

Hi all, at the Growl on Sunday morning a very nice chap (also called Peter I believe), wanted to know where I got a replacement early type SPAL fan for my Griff 4.3 Pre-Cat. For the life of me I could not remember then. I have found the details now if you are on this forum:

Ignore the picture, it is of the later type, I rung up to confirm, check the I.D. No. given to that you took down on Sunday. Best regards, Pete

Glad to be of help Peter. It looks like they have gone up a bit (were about £68 whenI got mine), but still better than the potential £120+. As you saw on my car I was pleased that it was identical to the original. All the best, Pete

Ohhhh I take it that you both are running a single fan, like me

I got a replacement a few years back direct from spal, gave them the numbers off the old fan and they sent out the modern day equivalant

Hi Hoover, my 4.3 actually came with a twin fan setup, I had one go down a few months ago. It was and original (05/92 date code), the other one is still going strong, along with it's new mate. Regards, Pete
