Any idea what I should sell my hardtop for? It is silver, in very good condition and comes in a nice padded case you can hang on your garage wall. The prices on eBay are all over the place, seemingly anywhere from £250 to £700.

Most I have seen on fan based sites tend to go for £250 to £400 for real nice examples and £200 or less for ropey ones in need of paint and or repair.Personally, I would never pay more than £300 for one.

Are you looking to sell it now? Not very much if you are!

Good luck though

Time of the year is a factor also, but saying that i think i paid £460 for my silver hardtop with glass heated screen and padded case in the height of a heatwave 2 years ago... its immaculate though and a perfect match colour-wise.

The gubbins that also make the screen operate can set you back a few quid also if the car is basic like mine is! Worth it though.

Get it in the MX5OC magazine if you can - seem to be priced higher in there and I would wager the people buying from there would pay higher than a random e-bay buyer.

I sold a red one for £250 last year which was disappointing but I needed some cash, was in good condition with a heated screen. Had very little interest at much over that to be honest.
