Isn't it about time we started our own pro-motorist pressure group / lobby?

All of the costs, fines, penalties etc that get thrown at us seem to go largely without any co-ordinated response - even the AA which used to be a bit of a voice standing up for us has become pretty toothless.

Can / will the powers-that-be in PH organise / help to get something started so that we can have a say next time the poor motorist is, yet again, targeted as a soft touch for raising more taxes or revenue?

PH would make a great banner for us to get behind and hopefully become a source for the national press to seek an opinion from and the coverage wouldn't hurt PH, either.

Given PH's ownership, I think your chances are slim.

And it's a forum, not a lobbying group, and should remain as such.

Isn't that what the ABD are there for?

Guess that'll be a "no" then. wink

Can't remember the last time the ABD had any input that made a difference TBH.

I suppose with fuel prices reducing slightly, everybody's keeping quiet but as soon as they start going up again, I may try to revive this thread.

Ho hum.
