Yeah - just south of the river. Any idea what time we should be aiming to get there for ?
Roy C / Page3 - you're in our kneck of the woods - when are you heading on up ?
Not sure which route im taking
As its a Sunday and i dont think much is going on in London im thinking of
Blackwall tunnel,Limehouse link, cross back south of the river via Rotherhithe tunnel follow the river to Waterloo bridge then through the underpass and then up Southampton road to Euston
I know thoe route out but cant think of any more tunnels or where any of you lot are

Nothing planned yet as far as I know. We'll probably decide something at the Ace on Friday although I seem to remember Roy saying something about already being up that way on the Saturday so he'll go straight there....in which case I'll join any convoy going!

That sounds like a plan. Could you post what you decide regarding a time and a place ? I'll definately tag along. How about you BERGS2 ?

Yeah - I'm easy - crap organiser though but will gladly join and convoy going...
any other convoy virgins out there?
whats the protocol?
Protocol eah
Never seen an 'official' one, but from my limited convoy's done so far:
1. top up with petrol the night before
2. Meet on time!
3. Pick a lead car and end car.
4. Make sure the drivers in 3. know where they are going
5. each car should make sure they can still see the car behind
6. sun glasses and roof off are a requirement - whatever the weather
7. cutting up middle lane rover drivers is a requirement
8. don't crash or break down
9. never try to follow two Tuscan S's when you are the last car.
10. Have pistonhead.com stickers to hand out when strangers at traffic lights ask where to find out about TVR.
11. Expect to get lost at least 3 times.
12 Tunnel = 6000rpm in 2nd
13 bring a camera
14 make sure you don't mind attention
Missed anything?

I'll be far too disorganised for a convoy as I'll still be asleep from the 1000km race on Saturday.
Does anyone know where TVR Silverstone actually is? I go to Silverstone quite a lot, but I've never found the dealer.
I've no idea who we've got from the NW London lot yet but will try and find out at the Ace tonight.
We usually meet at the Polish War Memorial on the A40 (5 minutes from the M25/M40 Junction), but if its only me we could arrange somewhere easier for you, then perhaps go round the M25 and up the A1M (Hatfield tunnel).
Alternatively we could do the M40 then A43/A413 which is what my route planner suggests and was what I was planning to do unless anyone knows different?
How far out is the M40 for you lot?
