Got a Squeak comimg from rear of car, doesnt happen when I just push down on body work. Only happens when driving..
I have changed anti roll bar bush's drop links and rubbers for exhaust mounts. Could it be bush's in the lower/rear wishbones. really driving me nuts
By the way its 1095 with 67000 miles

Did you upgrade the droplinks to rose-joints..?

If so, I found mine squeaked - although you couldn't replicate it with a "bit" of pushing, if you really pumped the car up & down on the spot, you could hear it...

Finding that out helped no end when I had to show the mechanic the squeaking noise, as the noise prescence depended on the road surface being right (read: wrong) otherwise no squeak...

HTH,

Dom

The squeak was there before i changed all the bush's. It makes the noise over any little rough bit in road. Its getting worse the more I drive it. Couldnt really tell where it was coming from apart from behind me, even removed the roof to see if it was that, drove with doors and boot open incase they were rubbing on body, but made no differance

I had an annoying squeek which turned out to be the boot hinges. Now nylocked, thread locked & all good. You mentioned you have driven with the boot open so maybe not the same. Good luck !

Knocks and squeaks can be frustrating and misleading. I was getting an intermittent loud knock from the right rear. Spent weeks trying to find the source. Turned out to be drop links on the front. irked Accoustics can play funny tricks.

Grab the exhaust and jiggle it. Once had a squeak and found somebody had mounted the rectangular exhaust holding plate the other way up so exhaust was in contact with plate.

Had this a few weeks ago and turned out the bracket that the roll bar drop link was bolted to had split on one side of the mounting hole. It wasn't really obvious until the drop link bolts were removed.

Now running round with no rear anti roll bar and its not a bad experience surprisingly.
