I have been looking for a nice low mileage and exceptional car for a mate, he particularly fancies a Toyota Corolla... I came across the one below which he may have made an offer on if it was a manual. 1988 and only 4800 mile!

If you see any other exceptional condition/low mileage cars post them up here!

Exceptional as in exceptionally unrealistic price?

True... but its better to start high! as he says, open to offers.

I have seen cars like this fetch a premium if they are really mint.

So where has it been all it's life and how about supporting evidence such as continous MOT's etc? cars that go nowhere seize up due to lack of usage!

But why would anyone want it? It's a 24 year old Toyota that attracted old duffers when they were new - I don't see the attraction at all.

Ad does say it's done 10 miles a year to/fro the MOT test and has receipts/bills etc.
You can get a VOSA check done as well to prove it's not actually done 204,000 miles as a minicab hehe

I think most bearings in a car are designed to wear the least when they are regularly used, why would somebody engineer a car to not be used?

More like a proper example of a crap, chavvy ad!

Oh and how may miles? 400? 700? Can't be consistent on that, what else is erm, "enhanced"?

True, but not x10 what a non low miles one is worth.

Cant see the appeal for something like this. Certain cars, yes, that, no.
