DB7 vantage spec

I am now stepping up my search for the "right" DB7 Vantage.

My ideal is:

Body: Coupe (think it looks better)
Gears: Manual (I like to be in control, less to go wrong)
Year: 2000 / 2001 (V-X plate before the higher tax band)
Colour: Grigio (I prefer dark colours)
Exhaust: Sports (For the full sound)
Price: £20-25k (from a dealer in the south)
FSH

I am quite particular and in no rush, but guess I may have to compromise on one or two elements.

Is there a right or wrong spec or is it just down to personal preference?

Not sure the tax band is that big a factor. Pre-March 2001 car is currently £220 a year (engine size-based) vs £270 a year for a later cars in band K (the max for a pre-April 2006 car).

The biggest thing for me when looking was the interior colour combo. Some of the greens and blues aren't really my cup of tea so I ended up with a black interior with dark red seat panels and door/dash inserts, which looks more modern to me.

Too expensive and too new. Prefer the styling of the DB7.

The road tax difference is not too big currently, but I have a feeling it may well shoot up for this type of post 2001 car.

Sat nav will also support TV and reversing camera (VDO Dayton unit) ...rare but then it was a £5k works service option so not surprised! I know it divides opinion but I prefer it. Hadn't seen one before I found my car.

You might benefit from asking the question on the AMOC forum, which seems to have rather more DB7 owners!
