realistically, what price would a set of these be worth, in good condition?

whilst i love the look, after my LS install, and a vigorous drive home after the growl, i am coming to the conclusion that i would benefit from wider and stickier rears than i can fit on the 7.5J gottis.........

In good condition they command good money, 600 quid or thereabouts.
Downward from there based on condition....

What tyres are you currently running? R888s will fit on a 245 profile (varying compounds available). Keeps it looking std & 'stealthy'....

after a blat today to go shopping, came out of the supermarket, to see the griff , side on. I'm keeping the gottis, they just look "right".....just got to order up some new rubber and see how I fare.

As the car is used for lots of road trips, I think i will need to stay with a road tyre. so will probably go for toyo t1R....

With the added power I would seriously consider the Toyo R1R's.

woohoo
Best decision you'll make this year mate.
I've been under mine this afternoon so while I was lying there I checked the front tyre size. 205's

I've previously tried 225 and 215 and it was either too heavy with the 225's or tramlined like it was still on the front at Blackpool with the 215's

On my Estorils I had Toyo Proxes 205f 225r but the Gottis came with Toyo Proxes 205f 245r

As they are new to me I can't say if there is much difference between them TBH.

with those, 205 50 15 fronts, 225 45 16 rears are the best match sizes. i cant find any 235 or 245 rears, nor 215 or 225 fronts, though the 205 and 225 sizes may be right with the gottis............

the 888 come wider, but really concerned about getting caught in the rain on an autobahn...........

Hang on to the Gottis.

This thread is a good excuse for some gratuitous shots of Gotti/Amil wheels:

+1 here. I really like the Gotti wheels on my 4.3 Pre-Cat. I am going to treat them to a full strip down refurb over the next couple of months. A specialist near me in Colchester has quoted £288 for all 4, tyres off, strip down clean up wheel, powder coat and lacquer. Saw some examples and they were a great finish. Rgds, Pete
