I would expect everything to work, and if it didn't it would be covered under their 1 - year Cherished warranty.
Air-con is more reliable if it's turned over regularly, even for a 10 min a week, to stop the seals from drying out. I use it for demisting in winter as the air coming through it is less moist than that straight through the heater.

I tend to use mine in my 3yr old Peugeot a lot, but I went for months and months without using it, and it's still perfect.Air-con is more reliable if it's turned over regularly, even for a 10 min a week, to stop the seals from drying out. Dealership are trying to fob it off under "Sounds like it requires a re-gas, which won't be covered under your warranty."
Same car went in to limp home mode 5 miles from the dealership after picking it up (thermostat packed up), same day my mate noticed a knocking from the back, he's fairly clueless about the oil bits but knew what it was. He phoned the dealer to explain his issues with the car (45mins after picking it up), they said "Oh, we heard the knocking when we test drove it after the service, just assumed it was something in the (empty) boot."
