Is Pedal Powered in the right place?
Discussion
It occurs to me that the "Pedal Powered" forum is in the wrong location.
All the other road transport forums (e.g. the new "Commercial Break" forum) are under the General Gassing umbrella.
The Pie & Piston forum group is full of non road transport/hobby forums, so "Pedal Powered" looks a bit out of place.
This might give the impression PH doesn't think cycling is a proper form of road transport, and is more of a hobby.
Thoughts?

I think you answered it yourself, cycling certainly IS a hobby, and NOT a proper form of road transport. Even though they (for some reason) get special roads built solely for them to use, some of the selfish pricks still insist on riding on the roads, holding everyone up and generally creating a hazard. All the other road transport forums (e.g. the new "Commercial Break" forum) are under the General Gassing umbrella.

I will give you benefit of the doubt here and assume you are just misguided and not a troll.I tend to find it is other motorists who hold me up...not cyclists.
Just to add I have a foot in both camps as a motorist and a cyclist using whichever transport solution is suitable be it cycle or car.

I didn't wish to spark off the usual cars vs. cyclists debate.
I guess my underlying question was whether the regular denizens of the "Pedal Powered" section considered it a pastime or a method of transportation.
I consider it transport certainly for the shorter trips I do. 6 miles or less and commuting.I guess my underlying question was whether the regular denizens of the "Pedal Powered" section considered it a pastime or a method of transportation.
Longer trips are generally hobby rides.
