Hi all, I start a new job monday and one of my first jobs is a Bentley turbo R head gasket. It's a 6.75 V8 and the right hand (turbo) side gasket has gone.

I have done a few head gaskets before but is there anything to watch out for on these
or to change at the same time (no cambelt- OHV with pushrods)

also where can I get the actual gasket set (tried trawling eBay) and google and all I got was 3rd party sites offering to find spares at breakers.

A GOOD place to go is a Bentley dealer surely ? you can't expect to get gear like that off the net .

Surely a decent motor factors would be more sensible than ebay ? Or just google Bentley parts...oddly, it brings up an independent parts supplier.

If you're in london then Jack Barclays will deliver

it's a straight forward job. the wings are quite soft - use good wing covers and don't lean on it.

Id do both sides even thou just one has gone , sods law says after one has gone the other will follow , also if you skim one the other side will be a differant CR .
