My youngest GSP who is 2 yrs old has some sores to her lady bits and they are also puffy. She's licking them and is due to come in season very soon. Anything to worry about?

She doesn't seem overly bothered by it. I just assumed it was a coming in season thing until I saw the sores last night.

Jess (german shepp cross) gets those from time to time, you worry about them but then the next day they're gone.

She's just had some antibiotics for an infected vulva.

Sorry boy, saw this post a few days ago and was going to suggest could be a localised infection, but couldn't post at the time then forgot. Glad she's getting sorted now though.

It's all good bex. she's got antibio's for the infection mixing these in with a knowb of butter to make sure she has them. The vet gave her a collar/cone but she wont wear it, she isnt licking them constantly and we are activly trying to stop her now if we see her. The vet suggested having her speyed in about 3 months if she's getting this wound up and she isnt even spotting yet. She thought she'll be a nightmare otherwise.
