Just interested to see which one people like the most at the minute.

Or is it worth waiting for BLOPS2?

All opinions are greatly appreciated smile

MW3 for me. I tried BF2 but couldn't get on with it. BF3 looked good on the adverts but I'm yet to try it.

Currently enjoying Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier, BF3 is also a good one.

I'm about 1/2 way through this and loving it.

The best shooter depends on what mood you are in. I love BF3 and MW3 depending on the mood I am in. BF3 is the best realistic shooter with vehicles etc and MW3 the best for running and gunning IMO.

How do they play though?

Is MW3 the same frantic arcade style that MW2 was? Is it bug ridden like MW2 was?

Is BF3 still a far more team based game?

Is Ghost Recon more strategy based?

How you do acquire then new weapons?

BF3 for me. I got put off CoD by some of the people that play it (blocking you in corners and just being general morons). Plus BF3 the maps are bigger, more players in one game, vehicles and destroyable buildings.

Have a look on youtube at some BF3 gameplay videos. I would be very suprised if you aren't impressed.

Or just play it. Maps are large, vehicles are fun, plenty of weapons to play with too...

There are just soooo many ways to kill people - I die a lot trying new and amusing ways to kill others........ For example, I am currently RPGing helicopters.... Or using the Main Gun on a tank. I don't often get the kill but it's very satisfying when I do!

TBH I play both depending on the mood I'm in. I do find that BF3 is more team based but the MW3 guys on the PS3 are great to play with.

That is very subjective. I thought Black Ops was pretty rubbish, even compared to MW2. MW3 just looks like a rehash of MW2.

Neither of them have the depth of BF 3, which ranges from small close in maps to very large ones with vehicles. Arma 2 is also pretty good, but much more of a simulator than either Cod or Battlefield.

There isn't a definite answer. It's largely down to preference, COD games for me all day long. I rented BF3 and just hated it.

Rent first if you can would be my advice.

I'm on the last chapter, been playing on rookie. Even that is cgallanging at times. I love the team work with the other ghosts. The drone is awesome. Next gorilla mode.

BF3 For me. More substance than COD. Its personal preference, but i much prefer tactical team play than the run n gun style, but bf3 offers both.

Thank you for the opinions chaps.

BF3 should be arriving in the post sometime this week as GAME had it for £22!

Great work, will have to look out for you when you start playing. It'll take a bit of getting used to so have a little patience when you first start to play it!

Yeah. Just hope my internet connection can handle it.

What was all the fuss about the Premium pack?

Personally, I'm not spending another wad of cash on the Premium pack to get new updates and stuff early, as I don't really play it enough to warrant it being beneficial. I know some who have bought it, but for me to get it would just be a waste.
