Freelander 1.8 Xei to tow a 750Kg MK Indy?

I have no experience with towing vehicles. Would a 1.8 Freelander function safely as a tow vehicle for a 750Kg MK plus wjatever the trailer weighs? I know its a gutless vehicle (esp. with the LPG conversion) but I wouldn't be in any hurry. Cheers

Quite easily. Braked trailer towing weight is 2 tons from memory. I'll look it up if you need exact info - but I know it will do 750KG without any trouble.

It is 2000Kg. Cool, thanks for the info. Now to get a towbar fitted and find a trailer
