Racing and rallying in Italy

This might help.
It is an uphill race (time trials) for historic/classic cars. One is right on our doorstep (Cortona) every April and it is good fun to watch! Very loud and fast cars come along!

Hi,
you'll need a license, maybe your original one is valid too, I honestly don't know.
For info about races you should check on http://www.csai.aci.it/, unfortunately it's in italian only but if you are more specific on the period and the zone I could translate, it's the equivalent of the BRDC.
Which kind of race would you like to participate?
Hope it helps
