Donington is the next Kit car show.

I would like to propose something new.

We all attend and support the show!

That way the day after we can have a thread about how busy it was and that there were so many people there that we couldn't see the cars, talk to the manufacturers or get any where near the trade stands to buy some bits!

It would make a change wink

I believe there is even racing on we can watch too!

Sod the weather, lets just go!

As it is literally only 20 mins from home, I'd have to have a big excuse not to go....

Count me in!

Oh no! It is in September. I will be in England during August all things going well. Is there any kit car related tomfoolery around then that anybody knows of? Even a blat? I'm sure I could find somewhere to hire one from.

If you pay my fuel/accommodation bills I'll happily go. The last time I was there was in 2007 and had all my expenses paid as my car was on the manufacturer's stand.

Isn't weather gear "a coat"?

You should ask the manufacturer if the same deal is on offer, how generous of them, the highest form of flattery and expenses too. Can't imagine anyone else on here paying you though

They might get more exhibitors if they actually contact them to let them know the show is on.
I sent an email when they announced they were thinking about it, but still heard nothing back from them!!!!!
Let's see if they read PH fourums!!!!!

I wonder how many powerfully built, company directors with goatees have kit cars?

Sounds like fun, not that I match the above so I will just have to watch. smile

I will need to grow a goatee.

And get myself to the gym so that I can convert from "well built" to "powerfully built"

I will also have to upgrade Mrs Meeja's hobby operation into a full blown company so that I can become a director.

It might also be useful to finish the Chesil!

But I am still going.....

Hi Dave, apologies that you never received a reply. We seem to have lost a lot of emails to the ether, as we have responded to all the emails that reached us. The exhibitor packs are being finalised this week and will be mailed very soon. We'll send one to you as we'd love to have you there!

Which you can take with a pint of "shut the fk up" juice. hehe

Seriously, the footwells fill up with fking water, the engine cuts out because there is an air vent above the fuse box, and i sit in a flooded seat feeling like I've pissed myself.

Apart from that, there is more water on the inside of my screen than the outside, and I don't have inside windscree wipers.

aaaaannnnddddd, finally, I don't want to be put to death by a tree at the side of the road because of the shyte road conditions.

If it's sunny I'm in, otherwise fk that.

HTH.
